- Haris M. Khalid (SMIEEE, FHEA) is an Associate Professor and prominent researcher focused on power grid stability, system estimation, and condition monitoring. His expertise includes control systems, renewable energy, cyber-physical systems, electric mobility, and smart cities. Supporting SDGs 7, 9, 11, and 13, he applies AI and machine learning to develop advanced smart grid solutions. Ranked among the world’s top 2% energy scientists, he is affiliated with the University of Dubai and serves as a Visiting Senior Researcher at the University of Johannesburg. With over 15 years of experience, he has produced 100+ publications, authored two books, received 15 awards, secured USD 1.691 million in research funding, and gained more than 4,001 citations.
